Your Path to Becoming a Resident

STEP 1 — Housing Inquiry | Day 1
Complete our online Housing Interest Form. Tell us a little about yourself, your housing needs, preferred move-in timeframe, and anticipated payment source.

STEP 2 — Initial Review | Approximately 1–2 Business Days
Our team reviews your inquiry for preliminary housing fit and current availability. If additional information is needed, we'll contact you.

STEP 3 — Resident Conversation | Approximately 1–3 Business Days
If the housing model appears to be a potential fit, we'll schedule a conversation to discuss the home, shared-living expectations, your housing needs, payment arrangements, and answer your questions.

STEP 4 — Documentation & Final Review | Approximately 2–5 Business Days
You'll be asked to provide the documentation necessary to complete the placement review. If an agency is assisting with payment, we'll also confirm authorization and billing arrangements.

STEP 5 — Placement Decision & Availability
Once the review is complete, we'll let you know whether placement can move forward. If you're eligible but space isn't currently available, you may have the option to join our waiting list.

STEP 6 — Resident Agreement & Move-In
When housing is available and placement is confirmed, we'll review your resident agreement, payment requirements, house expectations, room assignment, move-in date, and what to bring.

STEP 7 — Welcome Home
On move-in day, you'll receive an orientation to the home, your sleeping space, shared areas, house expectations, and other important information.

How Long Does the Process Take?

Most preliminary inquiries can begin being reviewed within 1–2 business days. The total placement timeframe varies based on housing availability, completion of required documentation, eligibility, housing fit, and payment arrangements.

Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee placement or reserve a bed.

This gives people a timeframe without putting Foundation in a position where you've promised a move-in date you can't meet.

Is Foundation Right for Me

Foundation may be an option if you are 18 or older, can manage your daily living needs independently, are comfortable living in a shared-home environment, can follow reasonable house expectations, can manage your own medications when applicable, and have or are establishing an appropriate housing payment source.

Need an accommodation related to housing? Let us know during the inquiry process so we can discuss your needs with you.
